The Samuel French e-commerce platform was named an honoree by the 2019 Webby Awards in the category for Cultural Institution websites.
Launched in 2018, the all-new website is designed and built for the diverse audience of the world's leading publisher and licensor of plays and musicals. Visitors include Broadway and Off-Broadway professionals, producers at small community theatres, and grade school teachers, all seeking titles that match their unique requirements.

The new platform provides a range of new features including a licensing estimator, author/agent dashboard, and a "Now Playing" feature showing geographic locations of current and upcoming performances of its titles. Following the platform's launch, there were immediate signs of increased engagement including a 19% increase in return visitors.
