Engine Digital Strategy and Design leadership levels up with Marie Gosal and Laura Falconer in new co-lead roles.

Today, we’re excited to introduce new Strategy and Design leadership at Engine Digital.

Marie Gosal joins us in the role of Executive Design Director, where she will continue to develop our methods and level up our team across brand design, visual design, product design, and design systems. Marie was most recently Head of Design at Metalab, and Creative Director at lululemon before that. She brings deep experience in both agency and in-house team environments. In her past roles, Marie led global design teams and delivered award winning work at scale.

Laura Falconer, a key member of our Strategy team for over three years, has been promoted to Executive Strategy Director, where she will focus on guiding and scaling our research, product design, experience design, and service design capabilities. While at Engine, Laura has led engagements with Blueair (Unilever), Far Niente Winery, Bravo TV (NBC Universal), and Pernod Ricard.

As we continue to evolve our ways of working, Marie will partner with Laura to co-lead a unified Strategy and Design team from our studio in Vancouver, servicing our clients globally, and ensuring everything we do is rooted in brand sensibility and insights-driven strategic thinking.

Supporting this new group leadership team, Eugene Huh has also been promoted to Principal Strategist. Based in Toronto and a member of our team for over 11 years, Eugene will continue to lead our new ventures, innovation, and research engagements. He has led work for Mastercard, Autodesk, HP, and Huawei, and supported partner engagements with Schneider Electric, CVS Health, and Pfizer.

These hires and promotions follow a run of new client wins in the financial services, bioscience, enterprise software, and gaming verticals. Going into the second half of 2024, we’re experiencing rapid growth and plan to scale across our Strategy, Design, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
