Engine Digital is starting 2025 in growth mode, having recently added several new team members across the organization, split across Vancouver and Toronto.
Melissa Swinton joins in the role of Associate Director, Program Management, now leading several large engagements. Melissa brings deep expertise in program delivery, change management, and enabling team effectiveness, having most recently held the role of Associate Program Director at Huge, where she was responsible for revenue forecasting, project pipeline scoping and resource planning, and for shaping program management frameworks for continuity and standardization across accounts.
Also recently joining the Delivery team is Lorin Lam in the role of Digital Producer. In addition to being a Certified Scrum Product Owner, Lorin recently obtained her Masters of Digital Media from the Centre for Digital Media (CDM) in Vancouver.
Our Design team welcomes Jin Lin Li. Jin is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s SIAT program and has spent the past few years building her career in design within roles at Visier in Vancouver and Work & Co in Portland.
Kevin Vo joins our Engineering team in Toronto, bringing a design-oriented perspective to full-stack development. Kevin is driven by work that blurs the line between aesthetics and performance and enjoys solving complex interaction problems with Javascript.
Our Strategy group has recently welcomed several new team members including Élan Asselstine, who joins us in the role of Senior Experience Designer. Also a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s SIAT program, Élan was most recently Design Program Manager at HashiCorp. Prior to that, Élan was Design Lead at All Purpose and UX Designer at IBM.
We’ve also welcomed four Intermediate Experience Designers to our team. Feargal Cassidy joins us having recently relocated to Vancouver from Dublin, with extensive experience in UX and Product Design. Abhishek Damania, holding a Cognitive Systems degree from UBC, brings insights from his work with Hitachi Energy and BC Provincial Health Services Authority. Another Simon Fraser University SIAT graduate, Elvis Hsiao, strengthens our team with his UX and Product Design background. And rounding out this group, we’re excited to welcome back Jonathan Reade, also an SIAT alum, who re-joins us after originally coming aboard in 2021.
