Engine Digital continues to expand its Engineering team with the recent addition of James Doyle as Senior Back-End Engineer.
A digital consultancy with offices in Vancouver and New York, Engine Digital has made significant additions to its team over the past year including six new team members in February.
"James brings a diverse background and strong understanding of our technology stack. His passion for engineering and research and development of new technologies will certainly impact the growth and development of our team," said Kele Nakamura, Founder and CTO. "He has experience building flexible, efficient, and scalable platforms using technologies like React, Node, and PHP and will bring valuable expertise to projects for our client partners."
Doyle has long been a part of the Canadian technology scene, beginning in the London, Ontario area and more recently coming to Vancouver. Before joining Engine Digital, he held full-stack developer positions with audiology software provider Sycle and digital agency Invoke. Doyle currently organizes the Vancouver PHP Meetup and often speaks on various technology topics at meetups around the city. He is active in the open-source community and contributes to several packages for Node and PHP.
Engine Digital continues to hire across its Strategy, Design, Engineering, and Delivery practice groups with full-time openings between its Vancouver and New York studios.
