The architectural lighting industry has traditionally relied on static documents and outdated workflows, creating friction for buyers and specifiers. As a core part of its business model, Mindset launched with a mission to simplify this process through a more thoughtful approach and a commitment to providing an elevated experience to its customers. Their vision was to create a branded web experience that would remove the complexity, reinforce their position as an innovator, and integrate a powerful CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and ERP system directly into the user journey.

From the initial strategy, design, engineering, and implementation, Engine Digital led the project from end to end, working in close collaboration with the Mindset founding team. The solution is built on a foundation of intuitive design and robust technology. Key components include:
A minimalist, solution-first interface guides users, while architectural imagery reflects a sense of craftsmanship. The content strategy pairs product storytelling with transparent access to specifications and technical documentation.
At the core of the platform is a dynamic configurator, tightly integrated with Mindset’s ERP system. It serves as a single source of truth, allowing customers to configure, price, and save lighting solutions while dynamically generating custom spec sheets to remove redundant and error-prone processes.
The platform supports the entire sales workflow with features that include custom spec sets and quotes, role-based access for agency teams and staff, weekly performance reports, automated notifications, all with multi-currency support.
