When Google launched Cloud Spanner, they tapped our team to create a prototype to show off this new service, built for performance, scalability, and 99.99% uptime.
To bring Cloud Spanner to market, the Google Cloud product marketing team needed a way to show the developer community the performance of its new service in real-time. No simulations, just real cloud processing through rapid transactions and data visualization.
As the backbone of Google’s own mission-critical applications, Cloud Spanner provides this same scalability and availability to outside developers. To demonstrate the service, we worked with the Cloud Spanner product team to develop a functional demo, visualizing global transactions in a real-world scenario, presented as part of the product launch at the Google Next conference.
